Hi I went for a scan last week as doctor suspected I have pcos due to not having periods for 18 months the lady that done it said my ovaries look polycystic but the doctor won't diagnose unless my ovaries measured 11mm? And my were 5 has anyone else had this? Tia

Doctors do get reluctant to diagnose it's very much a disease that's there but hard to definitive say that's what it is

Thank you for your reply,my doctor wanted to put me in hrt but I said know as I'm 32 and can't see that helping! Are you on medication for it and what symptoms do you get

No I'm not they don't seem to do unless unless there are cysts and your trying to conceive. i wouldn't of thought hrt is the answer. I'd look into other options. eatibg right is important and some women take medication such as metformin the diabeties drug. they say Angus Cactus helps, also inositol/myo inositol - not sure if it's available in this country.
mum currently taking Cassanovum plus to try and help me conceive, can't say if it's worked or not yet
I'm * not mum
