Conception & fertility problems

I'm wide away with tears worrying about the possibility I might be infertile. My current partner gave me chlamydia around July last year and we've been in a cycle of treatment for the past 11 months. We have never fully completed our treatment/not been classified as clear due to having sex to early, not waiting the 7 full days. I've been treated 4 times now and now have to wait another 8 weeks to do another test to see if I'm clear.
I've got myself worked up over the idea that because we've been in a cycle of getting treatment and then getting infected again that I might actually have PID and thats the reason I'm still positive with chlamydia. I'm just sick with worry that I might be infertile and as I'm only 18 its making me worry even more.
If anyone has any personal advice to give me that would be great.

If you want your treatment to work then follow the advice given to you. short term pain for long term gain So to speak
your Doctor will be able to advise you about the effects of your illness and any treatment available to you but you should co-operate with him fully.

This isn't going to be what you want to hear, but being reinfected multiple times is what most medical professionals state increases your chances of infertility.
You really need to stop having sex until you are certain you are both clear. It's only 7 days! Surely you can abstain for as short a time as that!
You won't know about infertility until you ttc. And even then it's a lengthy process to find out what (if anything) is preventing pregnancy. I hope everything will be ok.
You are young, heaven knows most of us made mistakes and some of us weren't lucky enough to get away with them. Don't beat yourself up about things you can't change, but make sure your actions from now on are positive and protect you from further damage and hurt.
Best wishes x

Why can’t you wait for an only 7 days? Your health is the most important as you know yourself it can cause infertility, so why don’t you tell your partner to wait! I’m sorry but you are being irresponsible.
