Manchester Runway Visitor Park in manchester Animals & nature

you can get up really close to aircraft taking off and landing, there is a café, restaurant, kids play area and viewing platforms. There are two aircraft you can go on for free, and you can also book to have a tour of a Concorde there.

You have to pay for parking (£3 per hour) but admission is free. There is a pub close by too so you could eat and park there, and walk to the Runway.
