Hi all, Margot you sound very motivated. I'm joining back on this thread now. I put on 6lbs in total in December, I went back to ww last week and picked up their new simple start plan, I've decided to start it today as I need to get out of the bad habits in the points plan plus I had 2 parties to go to last week,
I'm going to the gym once I've dropped the kids off,
Good luck everyone

Morning! I'm back on the weight loss wagon and will contribute to these threads more often (hopefully).
Margot - that was a good day yesterday with the exercise and you pheasant curry sounds delicious.
I weighed in this morning and I'm exactly 20lbs less than when I started dieting last year so I'm really pleased about that. I'm only 15lbs to my target, which is looking more achievable considering my loss from last year. I'm off to do the food shop this morning and then I've got lots of little jobs to sort this afternoon, which will keep me busy.
Hope you all have a good day x

Morning ladies, I'm back!
I've eaten far too much and drunk far too much over December. I've thrown all the bad food away and am starting a fresh today. I'm giving myself a 4 weeks hardcore start with the diet and exercise. I was going to weigh in this morning but the machine in Boots was broken so will try another store tomorrow morning. In the meantime breakfast is a ww yogurt & fruit, lunch will be salmon and salad, dinner will be homemade noodle soup.

Morning, I'm also back!
Like Belle I have ate and drunk so much over December I'm sure the scales will be a nasty sight when I step on them. I'm not going to weigh in until Saturday though and hopefully the sight won't be as bad as I think it will. I have ticked over with going to the gym over the holidays but not nearly as much as I usually go.
I've got just over 6 weeks til my sisters wedding and my goal weight for that is 10.10 which was originally my Christmas goal but I was 2lbs off that. January needs to be a really good month diet and exercise wise as I've got loads on in February - 1st is sisters hen night, 4th me and H have 2 days in London, 7th and 8th we are doing stuff for E's birthday then the 22nd is the wedding.
Anyway I'm going to give my house a good clean this morning then going to the gym this afternoon.

Morning everyone. Nice to see you all feeling so motivated. Its the last day of the holidays here and we're going out for lunch and the to the theatre this afternoon. So won't be worrying about the diet.
Did go for a long walk yesterday but have also eaten way way too much. Proper diet starts after today.

Hey all! I havent been on MD much, it got too busy before Christmas. Like everyone I gained loads of christmas, but back to it today.
Ideally I'd like to loose a stone over the next year, however long it takes me. I felt uncomfortable in my bikini at Center Parcs so I dont want to be in the same situation next year!
My start weight is 10 stone 0.4lbs, first goal will be under 10 stone, then a slow and steady loss. I;ve taken pics of me in my underwear so I can see a visual difference log.
Lunch: Soup and crackers
Dinner - Chicken and veg
Exeercise - 27 mins run this morning completed and 50 sit ups.

Glad you all had a Christmas & New Year full of food and drink like me!! Scales for me haven't been too bad with only 1.5 on, but am back on it seriously as from today, so hopefully that will be gone by the weekend for weigh in. Homemade veg soup for lunch today and then dinner will be salad with something. Hoping to get out running this evening but will see how the back to school preps / bedtimes etc goes!!
Its 20 weeks this Saturday until I am a bridesmaid so serious action now!

Sounds like lots of really motivated people here, great to see everyone back and on their way to a lighter and healthier them!
Only managed to walk two of the usual three school runs today due to rain, but will try to get my kettlebell out later if N settles - she's having a grumpy clingy day. Going to town tomorrow to do a bit of shopping so that will help to earn some activity points as well. Pheasant curry is in the slow cooker and smells fabulous - can't wait to eat it, and looking forward to the cauli and cabbage too, it's such a tasty and healthy replacement for rice, H and the kids love it too.

Is this cauliflower rice Margot or just veg instead or rice?

I just shred it in the food processor and then use it instead of rice, works well.
