L has a party to go to in 2 weeks. A boy from his class will be 3. usually I'd have no worries picking up a puzzle or some books for a birthday gift but so close to Christmas I can't help thinking he probably has everything and what should we buy?
Any suggestions for something a little bit different?

Not directly no as I've lost the invitation with her number like a dumbass. I could leave a note with a staff member as not sure what day's Freddie is in.

C went to a boys 3rd birthday party just days after Christmas - we just gave them a crafty thing and a book similar to any other party he goes to. If he does end up with too many toys etc, then I guess his mum can save them until later in the year.

That's a good point DD. I just don't know where you buy craft things from.

I wouldnt worry too much about the christmas thing, he'll always get that issue.
For my cousins little boys birthday last weekend we all pitched in for an elc voucher. what about a dvd?

My daughter (3) had big craft jar filled with allsorts for christmas. I think it was from the entertainer. This is it (I'm sure they do blue/green too)

The one we'd bought for that party was from Amazon (a kit to make jungle animals), but I know Sainsbury's and Tesco both have craft sections.

Home Bargains have lots of stuff like that. What about bubble stuff?
