I have seen about a million 30 day shred threads on here but never actually opened and read a single one.
Back to slimming world tomorrow and wondering if anyone could share your shred success stories? What's the basic jist of it? Worth investing in it? Where's the cheapest place I can get it?

I have this and have used it a few times,but I have never got past day 15-not because the DVD is crap (its not!) but because I'm a lazy cow with little motivation!!!that said after 15 days I saw results, the workout became easier and I felt better mentally and physically-after I have this week off work out the way I am seriously determined to get back on it and determined to stick at it!!my friend also did the DVD and stuck to it for 30 days and her body shape was amazing, she was a bigger size 12 to begin and lost inches all over, lost 2 dress sizes and was very toned all over.
If you want a shred buddy I'm here from next Monday!!xx

I'm getting back on it in a few days once all back to normal. Basically 25 ish minutes of non stop exercise which is hard but doable and I definitely saw results even just after a week, I'd say do it! Maybe shout out for princess peachy, she done it religiously for the 30 days I think, I stopped due to injury and started again then stopped before Christmas

Its good because its such a short workout, so if like me you HATE exercise you can make yourself do it as its not too long.
I liked it but didn't keep it up for long as other stuff got in the way (i.e non-napping baby) but I felt tighter!

Well after a year of dieting and doing 30 Day Shred and Riped in 30 I am a lot lighter and loads more toned than I was. In my experience its quite a challenge so if you are either quite overweight or very unfit or both then listen to your body and take your time. I've taken a lot longer than 30 days to do them but did get there in the end. I'm going to try a different one of Jillian Michaels this year as I got a set of them on a cheap deal on Amazon.

I started the shred challenge in November when lots on hitched were doing it. I did it about 14 times in 21 days then was ill so had to stop for a few days then lost my momentum with it. Tbh I was really disappointed ... I did feel the workout got easier after I'd done it several times but I didn't lose any weight or inches :-( I wasn't dieting with it as well though so maybe that's where I went wrong? I really need to do something after all the Christmas excesses so maybe I'll start it again and be stricter with my food this time.

I really rate the 30 day shred, it toned me up unbelievably and I have a better tummy now than I did before having my children! I have had about 10 days off and eaten total crap over Xmas but enjoyed myself! I've only put on a pound and am still toned but I'm getting back to it at the weekend as enjoy how good it made me feel, full of energy.

What sort of results are you all seeing, and are you doing it in conjunction with a diet or just the exercising?

I used it alongside weight watchers and went from a size 12/14 to a size 8 in 7 weeks

When you do it and don't diet you do see a change in your shape as everything tightens up so still definitely worth doing GB.

Heartnurse has had amazing results. She had one day off a week and allowed herself wine ttc but did the 30ds and just watched her carbs (she had brown pasta/rice) and I'm sure she's lost almost 3 stone. She is smaller than Pre baby. I'm sure she said it took her 10 weeks to loose 2 stone. She LOVES jillian Michael .
I did it but it really hurt my knee. I did it oct over to just before Xmas in conjunction with 3 weeks of dukan and then more or less a slimming world low carb diet and have lost 2 stone (well I had but stuffed my fave at Xmas and put 7lbs on), but day 2 of treadmill and dukan and iv lost 2lbs already so I'm shredding again as from tomorrow c

I have zero motivation when it comes to exercise but I really should do something. I'm in the same clothes as pre-pregnancy but have a big fat belly that really needs shifting and generally just need to change my shape a bit (lose the belly and the thunder thighs and i'll be happy)
Might look into it...
