In my hs work its 13 weeks, that's an international company so its accross the board over his company. I would imagine though they must have regular meetings with you throughout that 6 months, maybe every 2 months so at least you know you are on the right track x

O I know! I have 3 weeks before I leave, I'm bricking it! I know fine well that I can do the job (not in a smug way but its something I'm interested in) but I soooo want to do well and then I worry that I'm leaving A&E and its all iv ever done, it a vv busy city centre unit (iv been out in the sticks for 5 years, was city centre before and you kind of get used to your dept ),
Im sure all will ge fine but like you say Its like you are leaving security of that job iyswim. I'm terrified

Standard these days (mind you it's been a decade since I looked!). If they're happy with you they can end the PP early.

My h has a 3yr pb which he finishes in Sept!
That's standard where i work. 3 months mid-probation review then a full one at 6 months.

I'd say more than reasonable these days. The contracts I used to issue were for 1 years probation xxx
