Just from reading a few comments on here over the last few days and from what a few of my friends have said - I'm getting the feeling like I'm missing doing something because I do not feel at all stressed that it's Christmas Day next Tuesday?!! Why aren't I?? Have I forgotten to do something? What is everyone doing that's keeping them so busy?? I have bought all my pressies, only wrapped a few but not bothered because I've got till next Monday to do it! Written all xmas cards but still got a few to deliver, doing food shop Saturday night. What have I missed? Why are you all sooo busy? lol

I'm not busy at all. I got the last of my presents yesterday which are wrapped. Waiting for a couple of bits to be delivered but thats it.

Tidying house for guests and just doing stuff around a toddler is taking time
Also sorting best mates house out too as she's been admitted into hosp so that is taking up time too but I of course don't mind.
Not stressed though here, all is actually very organised!

Not stressed, because I'm actually quite ahead of myself compared to other years by the fact all my presents have been bought and delivered - plus I don't think I quite realise how close it is!
Still got all the wrapping to do, might start some this afternoon if C doesn't stop me, and should really write a few cards.
We've not got any plans for anyone to come to us over Christmas so that makes things a lot easier!

That's ok then, glad it's not just me! To be fair, it does help that Christmas Day we're spending at home just us 5 so no major panic for getting the house spotless or anything. I just feel so chilled about it all! I think it helps that Christmas Day is next Tuesday and my H finishes work tomorrow so he's home for 3 days before Christmas Day so obviously anything that I need to do, I can get on with whilst he looks after the kids which is so much easier. I hope your friend is ok Hepburn, she's very lucky having you to help her.
I think that's it DeeDee, we haven't got any visitors really apart from parents and my brother's family so it really takes the pressure of it all!

Luckily I've managed to get my cleaner to go round to hers this afternoon for 3 hours Mossy which will be a godsend as she's got 8 adults staying over Christmas!
I offered to do her food shop on Sat too but think she's going to delegate to her H.
Just more of her cancer crap, it's never ending poor thing

Oh no, must be so hard for her family to deal with it especially at this time of year. Will she be out of hospital for Christmas? Good plan to send your cleaner round!

They are hoping to discharge over the weekend but it depends on if her temp behaves itself. We're keeping everything crossed!!

I'm not busy either which is making me feel really not Christmassy!

I am not busy but probably should be. I still have presents to make let alone wrap!!

I commented last night I don't feel very Chirstmassy, despite being all wrapped and house decorated. I think once the weekend is here and Mr GB is around and I've done the food shopping I might get into it a bit more.
I've got a plan of action to get things done. Fingers crossed it all works!
