The guys who is meant to be fitting our kitchen is doing my nut in! One poxy days work we've had out of him since January. D1ckhead of the higest order
So, I'm taking it upon myself to find someone else to do it. The actual fitting of the cupboards is a piece of pee, it's the sanding down and oiling of our existing worktop that is where we need the help really.
Anyone's brother / uncle / husband / neighbours dog need work?

1stBaby's brother helped us with ours.
We had the same issue by the way, my H and dad fit in the actual kitchen but didnt want to mess up the worktop as its oak.

no worries hun x
How many days was he meant to do? Was he good when he turned up?

Yeah he's done stuff for us before, general painting & decorating and that. It's not tons of work which has peed us off, it could have been done in a weekend but he's got a new baby (12ish weeks old) so was meant to be doing a Saturday for a couple of weeks in a row. Then started the stories and bull and this weekend I had enough. He text at midnight saying he had sodding food poisoining. he clearly doesn't want or need the cash. It's ridiculous! All that needs doing is some doors put on the bottom carcasses, handles put on all the doors & drawers, the worktop sanding & hwatever it is you do with it and a new sink put it.
Oh what a pain, I hate it when you get let down. x

H could do it if he had the tools, it's not like we are moving anything just updating what we have.

If 1stbaby's brother can't help I know of someone who lives in Eltham. My husband really rates him.
