I'm sure I'm not the only one!

I've got a hacking cough, had a fever since Wednesday evening and generally feel like shite. I've even invested in some Tena Lady as I couldn't cope with leaking everytime I coughed Weep

You'd think having H home would make it easier in terms of childcare, but oh no. I have to beg him to do anything. Think he thinks I'm making it up.

*Hands out tissue to the others suffering*

    Get well soon everyone!

One of the beans was ill before Christmas, S got it the Saturday before Christmas and still has the hacking cough but at least his temp is down. I ache all over, my skin hurts (?!) and the cough has started! My temp is back to a more normal figure today. Just waiting for the others to get it!

This time of year is just awful for it. Hope we all feel better soon!

And HN, I totally get the skin hurting thing. Horrible. Has certainly made breastfeeding...interesting!! And just my luck she's chosen now to refuse her bottle!

    * gratefully takes tissue from stripey and clear nose before talking*

One of us been ill for the past 6 weeks - conjunctivitis, flu like bug, dodgy tummies. I have been sick for the past 5 out of those 6 weeks and only got the chance to get to the drs yesterday so am now armed with anti biotics, mega painkillers (pulled all the muscles in my right hand side of my ribs from coughing - hurts like hell) and an inhaler for the first time ever. Have I had the chance to chill out in bed to get better? Have I hell!

Illness: you have been evicted. Please leave the Sparkles house!

Hope you all feel better soon - there is so much of it around this year.

Yes, Sunday 16th December was my first day of illness and I still have it Weep

It's not as bad as it was, just the terrible cough now, bringing up nastiness, and my chest and throat are sore after two weeks of coughing.

On the plus side our lack of children means I don't need to function, and my lack of pregnancy mean that I can indulge in all sorts of medication.
