We have already booked to go away for H's 30th birthday, We are going to stay in a cabin for 3 night's in Sherwood Forest (Robin Hood Land). It's like A haven kinda thing with lots of activities on site to do.. This is the end of October :). That's all the holiday we have booked.
I am not one for big holiday's abroad I much prefer to spend them going to visit family etc.. My parent's live in Cornwall so we are lucky that we can have a nice holiday too Cornwall for free!
Anyone going anywhere nice?
Flash away make us jealous :)

I'm toying with booking something for new year. Wanted to take the kids to a santa sleepover but haven't heard great reports anout it fir the money you pay, was thinking if a lodge over new year but will need to see.
We are off to a caravan in April, so not mine and hs thing but it's cheap and cheerful and so much for the kids to do
We are possibly off to Portugal in June.
Tbh I need to pull my finger out and get stuff booked (certainly if we are away at new year) but I can't get h to give me deviants dates and the last time he didn't give me dates I just booked any way and he ended up having to take his lap top away with him and work some if the time

I am off to Dumfriesshire start of October with a weekend in Edinburgh tagged on the end and can't wait. There's talk of going to Portugal next May with the inlaws but not sure I can cope two weeks with them... If I get my driving license back I may go to the family caravan for a few days just me and A as DH has run out of hols.

I am looking for next year H wants to go to Devon nearish to Totnes so he can see friends from when he was a student. It is quite hard finding accommodation in Devon as ideally we need a single story building, also we need a shower not a shower over a bath as H has problems with stairs and can't get in a bath. Kind of tempted by camping pods as camping would be too difficult for H but the camping pods would work. We had a lovely holiday in Norfolk in South Creake in the summer. This is where we stayed www.cottages4you.co.uk/.../cornloft-lodge-16761. We met up with my cousin, her daughter and her daughters boys at Mundesly. Unfortunately the property is being sold as we would love to go back there. February half term this year we went to Abbergele in North Wales, as we weren't able to go on holiday in the summer. This is wear we stayed www.sykescottages.co.uk/.../Castle-Cove-2810.html
We are also thinking about Cornwall in the future and I want to go back to Northern Ireland

We are camping in the cotswolds next week for a few days, not exactly relaxing but L will love it so its worth it! Then we're off to Florida in November, I'm very excited but the thought of a nine hour flight with a twenty month old is terrifying! There are six adults going and just one child though so I'm hoping we can pass him around a bit!

Winterflower one of my first holidays as a child was in Mundesley, I have such fond memories of it up there and it's when my sister learned to walk :)
W haven't got anything planned as yet but are thinking of going to a German Christmas market late November/early December. It's something H has always wanted to do (I've been to the Prague one before and he's jealous!) we figured whilst S was still too small to moan about where we go, we would go where we wanted to, ha.

Popcorn glad you have great memories of a holiday in Mundesley. I love Norfolk, this is our second holiday in Norfolk, my cousin and parents bought a house in Mundesley so they could go there regularly.
That sounds like a great idea going to Germany for a Christmas market and it would definately with a little one. If Germany is too far we have a great German Christmas market in Birmingham it is the biggest outside Germany.

Me, H and 3 other couples are going for a long weekend in Palma Nova next Friday, I can't wait. PIL are taking the kids to Cadbury's world and a safari park that weekend. Me and H have never been abroad together without the kids since before they were born so I can't wait.
We have also booked to go to Ibiza next August, there's 18 of us going (10 adults and 8 kids) so that will be great fun.

I've just booked next summer's holiday, Cornwall again. Looked at going abroad but it's £thousands and I just can't afford it. Plus I am a cream tea sort of girl!
Hoping to do a weekend away at Christmas, maybe Bath or something. Lovely there.
Jealous of some of these holiday plans though!

We're just back from Malta so no immediate plans. Thinking of a trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights but not sure.... or maybe New York, gosh, I'm just too indecisive!

We're going to Las Vegas for Christmas and New York for new year and H's birthday. I can't wait! We'll probably go to Devon at Easter as well as we missed it this year. I can't plan for next summer yet as it all depends on how our treatment goes - hopefully we won't be able to go anywhere but we'll see!

We're just back from Portugal for H's birthday. Pretty sure that's it for this year. Oh, I'm off to paris for a night with some friends in a couple of weeks.
We think we might go away for our anniversary next March. But not sure whether to do a long weekend on our own or a week with S...will probably depend if I'm back at work by then I guess.

We're going to have our usual visit to the Midlands in January to see H's friends and family. I'm also trying to find somewhere to have a couple of nights for his 30th birthday in December, but I'm struggling to find anywhere suitable.
