I'm in with the kids on my own - again. H was at work Saturday and Sunday night and has gone out to a leaving do tonight. I'm being naughty and having a couple of beers, I've only had salad for dinner so won't really affect my diet.
Kids are just colouring in but will be going to bed soon.
Anyone else here and wanna join me in a drink or two?

I will be. Just waiting for A to go to bed so I can also have a cheeky cigarette.
It was Himselfs birthday today. Feels a bit weird.
25/06/2013 at 19:49
Ha ha, do you not let the kids see you smoke?
What feels weird about it? How are things with you and A, any better?
Any news on your move?

No way. Totes secret.
Obviously last year, we celebrated, made a fuss. And now it's not my place. Just thinking how 1 year has gone, so much has changed.
A is fine, she seems a bit happier. I think it'll be better when we're in our own place.
I was really really hoping I would exchange this week but looking like it'll not be this month. The vendors are still waiting on their mortgage offer. Grrrr.
Thanks for asking xx

Ha ha, just wait until she's smelling it on you and asking you if you've been smoking - instead of the other way round and you asking her in a few years time. Say's me who's just sent Ella to the fridge to get me a bottle of Bud
That's a shame about the house, fingers crossed it gets sorted soon, glad A seems happier. I think it goes through spells with kids this age, for the last few weeks or so E has been no bother and we've all been getting on well but since last weekend or so, all we've done is argue.
How long were you and H together? I suppose when you've spent every birthday together for so long it must be weird when you aren't together x

Am here, H is working. I'm having a couple too
25/06/2013 at 20:12
I can always rely on you Kellfi. What does your H do for a job?
25/06/2013 at 20:49
He's driving taxis on a Tuesday & Friday evenings. Plasterer to trade, but has a little gardening/window cleaning business with his brother ATM

Jack of all trades.

H is away with work, J is asleep, C is watching DVDs (and getting annoyed that his cast is stopping him playing with his Lego properly).
I am taking a break from crocheting 2 blankets for my friend, who is pg with twin boys, and have just ordered H a laptop, as he was stropping that I had a new one, and he didn't, haha. Although, I wanted to cry when I saw the price. I need a drink.

flitting about here.

AK I take it his arm was broken? You are always busy so deserve a break. Hey that is lovely of you, I wish someone would so something like that for me.
Are you on the wine?
J is in bed and me and E are watching Dynamo, she is shocked by him, she was meant to be going to bed when the last one finished at 9pm but I've111 said she could stay up an extra half an hour as she's being my barmaid ha ha!!!
25/06/2013 at 21:05
Yoo hoo Pip, nice to see you popping up now and again these days, how are things?
25/06/2013 at 21:08
Not as bad! The kids are especially hard work at the moment though so I don't get a chance to come on much in the day now unless E is at preschool and J is sleeping!
Yep, quite a nasty break too. He's been a star though, no complaining at all.
I am on the wine. In my defence, it is so muggy, I needed a cold drink. Wine is the only cold fluid I had in the fridge. That is a valid reason for drinking on a school night, right???
Dynamo is fab. He did a trick with his shoelaces, so I taught C it, he has been amazing his friends with it ever since, haha.
Ha, bless her being your barmaid. Kids come in handy at times.

Ah bless him. No defence needed re the wine -I hear you. She asked me how come dad got to go out all the time and I never do, I've told her to ask her dad ha ha. Kills two birds with one stone, she can stay up later and I don't have to get up to the fridge every half hour ha ha.

Me, we are talking decorating, iv had 3 wines as had a meeting at work...in the pub and also it's been sunny so I sat outside with wine lol
C wouldn't fetch me more wine if I asked. He'd say "Mum, you've had enough".
He is anti alcohol. I am doubtful that it will last during his teens.

Cp that sounds good to me. How did last night with gbf go? AK sounds like a sensible young boy.
