My h is through to a second interview for a managerial position (he's a training manager at the moment but this is based in the nw as opposed to just his factory so its a promotion), so anyway he had had to do tests online (I think its psychometric, theory are all timed and there's numerical, writing and diagrammatic) anyway he's done 'exceedingly well' in that test, the woman was quite shocked. Anyway he's had to do some very weird things so far, tell them a joke, describe certain objects etc and we figured its all psychological. He's got another interview next week. Can anyone suggest what the norm is for management type roles now? To me it all sounds very psychological and iv never done anything like that its always been very traditional type interviews, his last interview (training manager) was just power point and run of the mill 'what would you do....'
