I need help or tips on being more organised, especially now we have two. I am they typical "put it off" person, and its starting to frustrate me. It's also not helped by living in someone else's house as I can't do jobs/chores as and when I want. So things like washing and ironing have to be done as and when I can get access to the washing machine, and as and when there is room on the dryer or the washing line to put it on after it's been washed.
Are you organised?? What tips do you have for me??

Yes I'm very anal about lists/planning etc. we still rush about at the last minute but basically I do a list if what needs doing and follow that, ie what needs doing the coming week.
I meal plan and have roughly those meals, I mix the week up a bit though.
School wise and cm wise and work wise everything is out the night before and just ready to out on, and pick up iykwim

I would say I'm pretty organised. I don't have lists but I know what needs done and when. I know when I'm going to iron, do house work etc. With regards to washing clothes could you put a wash in before you go to bed and then its ready to hang out when you get up in the morning when the washing line/dryer is empty.
With regards to work/school, I make E pack her bag and get her uniform out the night before, I get J's out so its ready for the morning. If I'm going to the gym after work, I get my stuff packed and its waiting at the door for me to pick up on my way out.

I have a calendar in the kitchen with a column for each person and everything we have to do goes on there - school things, doctors appointments, beavers, if one of us is working away or at a conference etc etc. I would be lost without it, if it's not on the calendar it doesn't happen!
Other things I've just got into a routine. I work mon tues wed so thurs I wash the kids clothes, fri I wash the adults clothes, Sunday I do whatever else needs washing. I order from asda online on a mon or tues and collect it on the way home from work on a wed. Some weeks I plan out our dinners in advance but I haven't really got into this yet.
