J is too young to really understand the whole thing, but he recognizes Santa. I downloaded the magic Santa phone app, and J FREAKED. He kept saying "Santa scares me". He then got a fork and a saucepan, and said he was going to "cook Santa"... He loves all the decorations when we're out and about, loves candy canes, and seems to enjoy the Christmas films. Love having a small child again, as C hasn't believed in Santa for a couple of years now, so part of the magic had gone.
C loves all the decorations, curling up on the sofa with a snowman soup, watching Christmas films. He is great at being enthusiastic about Santa with J, and is always on the look out for things we can get J for Christmas.
Next year will be great, as J will have more understanding about things, and will be even more excited for Christmas.
Can't remember Christmases without kids now, their excitement makes me more excited.

Louie is for sure! Although it's his birthday on Friday so is excited about that more.
He wants to make more decorations this weekend and is looking forward to putting the tree up on Sunday. He loves seeing Christmas lights and decorations.

Yes he is! He keeps asking how long it is until Christmas pretty much daily, and as I said in Fi's thread this morning, he wants to "make" our Christmas tree - need to work out where we're going to put it first since we've now got a huge expedit unit in the bay window where it usually goes!

E is. She doesn't understand properly. She's not 3 until Feb. But she loves the lights, she talks about Christmas and what santa is going to bring her. She also knows that Santa is watching to see if she is a good girl. She loves the Christmas films too.
S doesn't have a clue what is going on, he's not 2 until the end of Feb, and he's still very much a baby compared to E at the same age. He loves the lights, and i'm sure he'll like the tree when it eventually goes up.
AK you're right, Christmas is so much more fun with the children. It was so boring before. I feel like i'm reliving my childhood.

Ah, yeah. C's Birthday is Monday, and he is currently more interested in that than Christmas.

O yes, Liam is totally looking forward to it

Yup M is excited :) but she's off sick from nursery today so I've put on santa Claus the movie and she's away playing and I'm watching it myself
Think she'll get more into it once deccys start going up etc, but she gets excited if she sees Santa or a Xmas tree or anything!

Kind of. I think he still sees it as ages away. Our conservatory tree was up and he thought that was great and also we did his letter which he was excited about, h went out for a pint with Santa at the weekend for a behaviour update so he was asking what was said etc and he knows that an elf might be coming to stay.

O Isaac has no idea, he loves the tree and knows we have to be gentle with it but that's it

E's birthday is Friday so she's more interested in that at the moment, but as soon as her party is done she'll no doubt move on to Christmas.
C is a bit young to understand yet, but will probably enjoyg the tree when it goes up.

Never mind the kids, I think me and H are more excited ha ha.
Mine are both hyper about it. J keeps asking how many sleeps until we put the tree up and how many sleeps til Santa coming. Our tree goes up on Sunday so I think they'll be mega hyper then. We are going to spend the day putting the decs up, listening to Christmas music, then having a party tea, which will consist of loads of naughty foods and chocolates and alcohol for me and H.
I'm pretty sure that E doesn't believe in Santa but she has never said anything to me about not believing and still goes along with it which is nice.

Great minds think alike. Can't wait to go to Asda and get loads of treats. I've stocked up on Pringles but that's about it, we did have some crates of Bud in the shed but they didn't last long ha ha.
