We go on holiday a week on Monday (did I mention I'm going on holiday? ) and I've soooo much to do before we go!
my to do list looks like this:
Dig out suitcases
make packing list from the Pinterest list that Dumblespud posted the other day and make a list of what I still need to get, go buy it
Finish decorating stepson's bedroom, just needs a few finishing touches and the new chest of drawers put in place and the old one emptied/all his clothes put away so that I've somewhere to put the cases to pack them!
It's M's birthday a week today so need to buy her bike and get H to build it. Need to also get brithday cards and something from stepson to give her.
Her party is a week on Saturday so need to do shopping lists for food and party bags, go buy everything, make her cake and goodies for the party, clean house (it's in the house, just about 7 kids so not too bad)
Saturday this week I've got a girls day out, Sunday we are taking M to see Ben and Holly Live, Monday and Tuesday we'll be at my mum's so she can babysit M while I go to see Evita Monday night (H working and I need babysitter), Wednesday-Friday I'll be working, Wednesday I'm gettng waxed after work, Thursday is M's birthday and the inlaws will all appear at teatime to see her and will expect fed (what's the etiquette for buying everyone a chippy?? ) and I've got a tennis lesson at 8.30pm, Friday I've got the hairdressers then will need to do all the party prep, Saturday morning I'm taking M and stepson to Max Spielman to get photos done to give H something for Father's Day (that sorts FIL too!), Saturday afternoon is party then pick up stuff from Max Spielman, Sunday we are going out for lunch then Monday we fly out at 9.30am. And I'll be on the wine after check-in
Considering taking some time off work next week but don't quite feel organised enough yet to take time off!
Knackered just thinking about it.....

Wow that is alot!
Deep breaths and one thing at a time is my only advice, I hate feeling overwhelmed

I'm stressed just reading that.
My advice would be to make a list for a few things everyday so it doesn't seem like such a mammoth task.
