B wanted me to buy some candy canes to go on the Christmas tree and I said when we took the decorations off the tree he could have them to eat then. Tonight I let him have one a bit early. And... he was gutted to discover he didn't like the flavour of them! He tried another one which tasted exactly the same much to his disappointment. So to have waited fro so long (about six maybe eight weeks?) to find out you don't like the flavour!

Oh bless him!!
I tried to make candy cane vodka once but used the peppermint flavoured ones instead of the sweet strawberry ones, I didn't realise. So having dissolved the candy canes for weeks and weeks in the vodka, it just tasted like mouthwash We 'rescued' it by drinking the stuff with orange juice and it was alright, but not what I'd pictured!

My B did exactly the same recently lol. He said they were like toothpaste. I did feel quite sorry for him :(
