A new law banning smoking in vehicles carrying children – even if the windows are down – has come into force in England and Wales.
Anyone breaking the law could get a £50 fine.
But the police have already said they're going to take a 'light touch' approach to the new law, probably only giving people warnings, rather than fines.
How do you feel about that?
Do you think that's a good approach – people should have time to learn about the new law and adjust their behaviour?
Or do you think no one will take a blind bit of notice, if the law is not enforced – and meanwhile children all over the country will still be breathing in harmful cigarette smoke?
