I know this will sound silly, but When I first moved out I didnt have a vase, and so many people bought me flowers when they came round. May be worth getting one just in case. I know its not essentials but really annoyed me I had nowhere to put them! Now when I have friends that move ect I buy the flowers that are already in a vase! How move goes well! PJ xx

OMG hoover! That's a must. The other bits she has already in boxes, but good call on the hoover.
Dining table will wait as they are expensive or shite.
It costs a fortune settiing up home - she SO should have taken more from him

Is there not a dining table at the house he could let her have?
I have just brought new ones as ours were rusty. Wilko's jobbies but they are fine, got a new toilet roll holder too -ohhhhhhhhhhhhh get me!

Salt and pepper grinders (that's something I forgot when I moved out!)

She won't ask him for anything and he's given her plenty of cash to be fair. There is much more to this story than any of us will ever know imo.

Can she try freecycle for a table and chairs? some people give some pretty decent stuff away.

bedside/living room lamp- don't forget bulbs!
some trays to eat your tea off if she she doesn't have a dining table
bread board/chopping board
washing up bowl/drainer
sounds like you have a good list going. I'd go round Wilkos for ideas.

If no dryer - some kind of airer.
Bath mat / new shower curtain
Blinds/curtains but i'd guess you need sizes
Not sure how old the kids are, but any safety equiptment? Stair gates or plug socket fillers / cupboard clips etc
Can / bottle opener - sounds like she might need a drink when it's all done.
Glasses / kids cups / wine glasses
Waste paper bins - not sure which rooms people tend to put them in, but I've lots!
Coat hooks / over door hooks (we used them as a temp measure until the nicer ones got put up).
Door mats / shoe rack depending on space arrangements.
