Our bathroom is starting to look a bit grotty and needs regrouting and sealing along the bath. I've heard people mention grouting pens before does anyone have a link to one they've used?
Also how easy is it to reseal? do I need to remove the old or just seal over it?

i could be totally wrong as im in absolutely no way diy savvy but we had ours resealed and the plumber took all te old stuff out. i wanted H to re grout and looked up instructions on the internet and omg it looks the most tedious job ever, no way would my h be patient enough to do it, so the plumber did that too, iv no idea what he did re regrouting but i know he removed the sealant

Urgh it's a pita job I know. I've heard of pens a bit like tipped id imagine that regrouts. The old stuff doesn't need to come out we've only had bathroom in about 3/4uears but it's not as bright as it was.

I've tried a pen before and it was a bit cr*p to be honest. I think we sprayed the grout with some sort of mildew remover/bleach type thing instead and it worked a treat.

My sealant round the bath needs to be redone. You will have to take the old stuff off first then redo it. Make sure you fill the bath before you do it otherwise it will have gaps in the sealant - a mistake I have made before.
With regards to the grout I used this and it made a huge difference. Its a pita to get the stuff off the tiles but so worth it.

Sealant needs to be removed and replaced.
The pens are shi t tbh - only a few quid but a complete waste of money.
Grouting is easy, I've done it myself, but its removing it that is the ball ache.

we've used a pen before. It looks good initially- like bright and clean next the old grey grout, but then I noticed it was a blue tinge. Probably because the brightener is tinged blue to make the grey less grey. crap at explaining. Once you start you have carry on.

As others have said the grout pens are rubbish. I tend to scrub gently with a toothbrush dipped in bleach, comes out sparkling white again. sealant would probably need to be removed and resealed
