They went on and off on Saturday and then this morning when I was getting ready for work, put them on and nothing, I twisted the wire around and still nothing. I had to go to my mams to use hers. She's got an old Nicky Clark pair that she's given me but I'm gutted.
I'm hoping they are fixable.

How old are they? Might be worth speaking to GHD? I had a pair break, well the wire started sparking(!) and they sent me a free replacement.

WSshhS - they have a two year warranty and I've recently read of people getting them sorted even if they didn't originally register for the warranty.

Hope you can get them fixed and dont have to buy new, how old are they?

They are pretty old - about 7 years ish so I've had a pretty good run with them but I'm gutted they've broke. I repaired them a few years ago with a new wire so hoping I can do the same again.

I used someone on eBay who charges a flat rate of £16 to repair them. I think they just send you a refurbished pair but if they're not working what's the harm was my view! Will try and find the link...

LB did you find the link for the person who repairs them???

No but if you put in GHD repairs there's loads that now appear to do a similar thing.

I actually won't need the link because I've tinkered around with them and am chuffed to bits that I've fixed them. The cable is definitely dodgy so I'm going to get a new one anyway but at least I won't have to keep my hair tied up until then.
