, I'd always seen you going on about frozen meat. We tried frozen chicken a while ago (had it in a salad and it was horrible, really rubbery etc) so went back to fresh chicken. Well I'm on a massive savings drive, trying to be so organised with meals etc so I bought frozen mince and frozen chicken last week and thought if we were having meat in dishes then I'd try it again. So made Asian sticky chicken yesterday, it was lovely and today iv made cottage pie and its bloomin lovely. So I'm going to buy my mince like that now for pies/lasagnes/burgers etc as its SO much cheaper. Just thought I'd tell you as I think Itl really save money and multiple trips to the shops etc

Not KS, but hought I'd have a nosey!!! i buy frozen stir fry veg/pepers for the same reason. I was throwing away fresh stuff as I wasn't using it before it turned and it's such a waste. Handy to have in your freezer.

Iv bought frozen mixed veg for things but I didn't even think of peppers so I'm going to do that as we end up giving whole peppers to the guinea pigs as they start going off x

good for cooked dishes, but like you said about the meat I wouldn't use them in a salad.

CP i only buy frozen chicken as we use ao much of it. Never use mince so can't comment on that but glad you've tried again and it wasn't rubbery lol
Oh whilst we are chatting can you let me have the Thai soup receipe please? Think it was ginger and something x

It's smart price chicken and mince too ,
Here's the soup. I think it works out at 1point on ww as I got the recipie there years and years ago
Thai chilli and ginger
Chop 5/6 shallots
Add a red chilli (chopped and deseeded)
Add about an inch of grated ginger
Add about 500 ml veg stock
Add 2 tbsp of low fat sift cheese and mix in well
Add 4/500ml of milk (it shoukd be skimmed but I find that very watery so I use semi skimmed)
Don't let it boil as the cheese splits

Yes it makes it creamier otherwise its really watery. I just buy cheapest lowest fat cheese. X

I don't mind watery...would be like a hundred broth i guess but shall pick up soft cheese next shop.
