I'm expecting my first child this summer and l'm looking into bottles at the moment. I have a few questions regarding bottles I hope you can answer:
1. Is it necessary to get a bottle brush if you own a steam steriliser?
2. There are many different sizes of bottles out there. What is each size being used for?
3. There are different teats out there for every few months. Is it recommended to buy new ones every time the baby hits that age?
I'd like to hear your opinions!

Yes you need a bottle brush as you wash bottles up in hot water first and scrub out the milk deposits before sterilusing.
I used smaller bottles in early days and bigger ones as they drink more.
Yes i changed teats when recommended. They wear out by then anyway.

You might find you get more response if you move this to Baby Talk, but to answer your questions :-
Yes you need a bottle brush. You need to wash the bottles thoroughly before putting them in the steriliser.
I haven't seen many different sizes if I'm honest, the little 4oz one and then the bigger 9oz ones. We only ever used the standard 9oz bottles even though ff from 3 days old. They would be taking too much for the first size in such a short time it seems a waste of money.
As for teats, well we used variflow teats after the first few weeks so we didn't need need to change again until we stopped using bottles at 12 mths. We will do the same this time around as i can't be bothered with faffing around deciding if it is time to move up a size or not.
