What are you doing on Boxing Day? What do you usually do?
Last year my mam babysat so me and H went out boozing with friends. Other years I've had friends round while H has been at the match or we've been to parties at friends houses but this year we haven't got any plans, I'm hoping one of our friends will have a party.

Boxing day is a chill day.
When I was younger, my step dad would take us to the cinema, then McDonalds.
The kids never want to be dragged away from their new toys

This year I'll be dropping girls to Bluewater at opening for the sales then going back home, staying in PJS all day eating food and drinking wine whilst Louie plays.

Normally have a lazy morning. H works an early usually, so I have a bit of a lie in (child permitting) we eat left overs from the Christmas day food. Sometimes I've been to the football, and usually we go to my nana and granddad's for a buffet. Not sure if we will do that this year as it's just nana.

I have my mum, dad, sister and her boyfriend coming over for brunch. Have to ship them all out by about 3pm for the inlaws coming for dinner, which will be tricky as FIL's dementia has really accelerated recently and he doesn't really like leaving his house, and both FIL and MIL have quite different restricted diets. I refuse to cook breaded chicken and chips foe boxing day dinner, but no idea what I can make that we can all eat, that is a bit special and not going to take me all day.

Traditionally, all my life, it's been woman's family = Christmas Day, bloke's family = Boxing Day. But this year his awful sister can't come out, and his mum is away, my son is working so we will have a PJ day and I am very excited. If I wasn't preggo we'd probably be out on the lash with the dog in a cosy, quiet drink in a corner kind of a way.

Normally we'll got out for a walk or something to get some fresh air and walk off some of the Christmas lunch. This is normally followed by finding a cafe and having hot chocolates. Then we might put a film on in the afternoon and just relax. Of course there are new toys to play with too.

We'll be having another day at home, eating leftovers, probably go out for a walk. My parents will come round for a couple of hours.

We are spending it at the beach if it is warm enough. Taking a picnic of turkey sandwiches with us too!

Not sure yet, in-laws usually come to ours when stepson comes to ours to see him open his presents but still don't know when hes coming yet so may be hosting the in-laws, if not I think it'll be a quiet day at home so M can make the most of playing with her toys. Also need stuff as doing up Ms room in January, so need a new bed, bedding and curtains so will try and see if I can get them in the sales.
