Just seen an offer on Groupon for a tour at a local brewery which I think my Dad would probably love - ideal for Fathers day too (I was planning on getting him a bottle of something when I go shopping on Saturday)
Only thing is, although he'd probably still enjoy it on his own, I was thinking maybe I could get one for MrDD too then they can go together (they do get on) - does that sound like a bad idea?

I think it sounds like a great idea if you think MrDD would like it as well.

Well, it might not be such a great offer as I though - looking at the brewery's own website, their standard tour costs £2 less than the Groupon offer!! The only thing I can see different is you don't get a platter to share.

Well I've booked it - it seems the platter isn't cheap so isn't too bad a deal after all - I hope they both enjoy it, I know my Dad will anyway! If MrDD isn't so keen (he's more a lager drinker than ale), he's got a toblerone and bottles of lager that I've already bought anyway.
