I end up posting on bt and no one really ever replies do I figure you all have children and may remember. Isaacs 15 months all he's doing is eating and sleeping, tantrums galore have started too. So he had his mmr 2.5 weeks ago, had his reaction rash about 4/5 days ago but he's now sleeping A LOT! No temperatures, iv checked in his ears and listened to his chest and all fine, eating and drinking lots too.
He will wake up in the morning, have his 2 cups of milk, banana, cereal/porridge and toast and then go back to sleep for 2 hours, wake up, play, snack, play, nap for 45 mins, wake up, lunch, play, snack, nap for an hour then tea and last play, bed and sleep for 12 hours.
Food wise I can't fill him (I know he eats a lot anyway but honestly he's a bottomless out ATM) do you think its a GS?? In the past month he's now walking and has increased his word count to 23 words so a lots gone on plus his mmr, do u think its just development?????

Sounds like a development spurt to me, mine always end up sleeping more when they are doing something new. Stick at it, I'm sure it will improve soon.

Was thinking exactly the same as Margot. B is currently going through a GS/developmental change as eating loads and very tired. Personally I msut be going through a massive one myself

I'm obviously always continually learning/developing since I always eat
Thanks both, I was thinking maybe its just development????

Ditto what M and QI have said, classic development behaviours that my two displayed also.

Sounds like a gs.
It makes me feel better that you've said tantrums have started. N has started with tantrums too, arching back, stropping, legs suddenly not working and lying on the floor!

P has suddenly gone back to sleeping loads. She had dropped to 1 nap a day but is now back at one early morning and 1 early afternoon. This afternoon she slept for over 2 hours. He language is coming on so quickly at the moment, new sounds and tones everyday and words too. Plus i think she is right on the brink of walking so i'm putting it down to development.
She would also eat all day everyday. Shame you're so far away, i reckon they'd get on!
So i'd say yes, development!
