Why old makeup and half used perfumes sell so well on eBay?
ive put on quite a few items to sell today and my old Dior lippies and half used perfume had bids on them straight away. Who buys this stuff and why?

Don't know the answer but I may try it!
Have the lippies been used too?

Grim. I have shedloads of half-used old make-up lying around, might have to give this a go!!

I've no idea but have made a fortune on it myself!

What? Why did I not know this? Does it have to be the posh stuff? I have loads of unused No7 lipsticks I've never used as I hate lip stuff-
would that sell?

Personally I wouldn't buy used lipsticks but if they sell I'm gonna list them!

Sample sizes sell really well too - I sold a load of 2ml stuff for a couple of quid each, soon adds up!

Right, I'm going to start listing all that kind of stuff, I need to raise enough to buy bunk beds!

I've just looked at the e*bay rules and it says you can sell used perfume, but not used cosmetics - it specifically gives the example of lipstick. If cosmetics are open but unused you can sell them as long as you state this, but if things have been used you aren't allowed to sell them. The details are in their Used Cosmetics Policy.
Dammit, I've just taken photos of a load of stuff to list as well!
