Can you recommend any parks with very decent lodges or caravans please. Good entertainment for children and a nice area too!

We went to Hobourne Naish in New Forest in July on Working Hards recommendation, it was lovely, really nice change from Haven sites, there's a lot of (older) people live on site, there is a small amusement arcade but we gave stepson £2 one night to go play in it, when we went in to get him about half hour later he was stressing because he couldn't spend it, he kept winning And it was all like 2p slots, little ride ons for younger kids were 50p. Kids entertainment in the evenings was CHEESY but the kids enjoyed it. It had an outdoor heated pool which was lovely, and an indoor pool and kids splash area thing. Tennis courts, play park. Tesco about five mins away. We stayed in a really nice caravan with decking around it so the kids weren't completely stuck in the caravan, although had to keep an eye on M as she worked out how to open the gate - she never went out of it mind you.
We booked privately highcliffe holidays I think they were called but it was basically just a guy with a van. It was a two bedroom, had heating but no radiators weirdly, don't know how it worked as it was scorching when we were there.
For value for money I thought it was brilliant, the onsite pub food was pretty nice and there was a snack bar too. there was crazy golf too. We'd def go back

Www.highcliffeholidayhomes.co.uk is the site for the guy we booked accommodation through.
We had to buy entertainment passes too because we'd booked caravan privately but it was like £9 each wasn't expensive

Not sure where you're based. We've just had a long weekend at Pendine sands which is a park dean holiday site. We were in a basic caravan. We didn't upgrade, and it was fine for a short break. We'd booked through the sun newspaper, so it cost us £92 for the 3 nights including entertainment passes, heating and linen.
The kids loved it, there was plenty for them to do, and the entertainment in the club house was all geared up towards them. It's right on a beach, so as the weather was quite decent we've spent time on there flying kites, building sandcastles, crabbing etc. You're close to Folly Farm, which is great if you've got young children, then Tenby isn't too far away either.
We shall definitely use the site again in the future, as we love it around Pembrokeshire.

Park dean is the park we always use too Chids, Dorset normally. They are great for the kids! We also did the sun holiday and had a lovely little lodge for about the same cost as what you paid, well worth it IMO.
I think my mum has been collecting the sun tokens so we will definately use them for a weekend.
I like the sound of Pembrokeshire, where is that? We are north kent x

Pembrokeshire is South Wales, beautiful part of the country x

Yes, what Frankie Says. It's South Wales, and I love it down there. We've got some family who live in fishguard and so we're down that way 3/4 times a year.

I've been going to Welcome Family holiday park in Dawlish Warren (Devon) since I was young, and still go now. The entertainment there is second to none, I've tried Park Resorts and Haven sites and they just don't compete. The facilities for children are great too, and there are loads of places for day trips out nearby.
