Is it just me or does the idea of being under that amount of water in a tunnel freak anyone else out? we are going to go to France next summer and I was looking for ideas of ferry prices, H thinks I'm being irrational for not considering going euro tunnel
Live checked and ferry prices look cheaper anyway

I've only been through the Channel Tunnel once (well twice, I returned!) It was very dull, I wouldn't rush to do it again. I prefer the ferry! But on the other hand, it is quick.

How long does it actually take Cat? I think M will prefer the ferry, she'll be four, the ferry is far more exciting IMO

We always choose the ferry. I don't fancy the tunnel at all

The shuttle only takes half an hour. I prefer it myself - its quick and doesn't involve anyone being seasick. I hardly notice the tunnel itself.

Been through it twice and only takes 35 mins. Seems so much easier than the ferry. Also have paid next to nothing since we use our Tesco Clubcard vouchers to pay the majority of it off.
