I noticed you said you were going to Wales for a long weekend.
Just wondered what area it is you go to?
We are looking at the moment for a few days in June and seems to be so much choice!

We always go to Fishguard, which is about 50 mins drive from Tenby. We have family who live down there and so we go and stop in a holiday cottage next to their own home. I love it there, so many beautiful beaches within about a half an hour drive of fishguard, and then you've got tenby, saundersfoot, St davids. We love just getting in the car and pottering around. We have also stopped at Bluestone which is the Welsh version of Centreparcs, it's quite expensive normally but we got a bargain deal last year where it was £99 monday - friday, and that was in a log cabin.
I've also got an uncle that lives in Porthmadog, he works on the Ffestiniog railway, and so we've been there a few times too but that was mostly when we were children. Again, you're close to Snowdonia, and some of the places around there are lovely. I quite like Barmouth for a day out when we go and stop with him.

Thanks for replying Chids.
That sounds lovely. And what a bargain you had at Bluestone!
We were looking at Tenby and Saundersfoot actually.
It's only me and my H, which one would you recommend for nice walks, shops and bars and restaurants to choose from?
I never thought of going to Wales for a break before, but after looking fancy visiting a few places.

I love Wales, and i love Tenby. Out of the two areas i've stayed in i'd probably go for Temby, some of the Pembrokeshire coast is lovely for walking. We always go for self catering accomodation, so as for restaurants etc i don't know.
