Do you choose a watch based on fashion or practical things? I've been looking for a new one, haven't worn one for a long time as I tend to look at my phone but I've seen some really nice ladies watches around. I like the ones that are like a cuff but not sure if I should choose something more classic?

My watch was a 30th present from my dad. It's a seiko, so a good make and is a classic design, metal strap, bracelet style and silver and gold. I wear it all the time so I wanted a simple style that would go with whatever I was wearing. I have friends who wear different watches with different outfits, like jewellery, but I just wear the same one all the time.

I quite like the idea of having a classic silver or gold one that will go with everything, not sure I could be bothered with changing it all the time, I'd end up wearing the same one anyway.

I got a rose gold Michael Kors watch for xmas. Its real big and bling. I love it!
This is where having a husband who's a jeweller comes in handy! My current watch which I wear all the time was a free gift to the shop from one of their suppliers that I got to choose, it's a lovely silver watch with a black face and has diamonds round the face. I also have a silver rotary watch which is also lovely, I just forget to wear that one. I can highly recommend his website if you're looking for something

I have a plastic Hello Kitty watch, meant for a child.
I can't help with anything classy...
