We've got a busy day today. H is already in Asda getting some last minute bits, hopefully it isn't too busy as he's very impatient. E is in the bath, then I need to get J in. Once H is back we need to empty our bin and take some stuff to the tip as its already full and isn't getting emptied until next Monday.
I'm off to the gym when he gets back, then need to drop E at panto. H is then going to drop off some presents and keep J entertained while I sort the Christmas Eve Hamper and wrap a couple of bits.
This afternoon we are meeting a load of friends and their kids in the pub for a couple of drinks. Once we are back it will be opening the hamper, get new pj's on, watch The Snowman which I've recorded then the Snowman and the Snow Dog which I'm recording tonight.
Hopefully get kids into bed and asleep by 8.30/9, get the presents out, and hopefully get an early night myself.

At work until 4pm. Then wrap a few last presents, cook some bits ready for tomorrow, set up my Christmas dining table and table decorations, pick up son from work, last minute tidy round, peel a mountain of veg, drink a mini-snowball, eat warm bread with butter, ham and cheese, cuddle dog and husband, watch a Christmas film, fall asleep on sofa. Excited!

Not quite the morning it was going to be as C was supposed to be at nursery, but since he threw up yesterday he can't go (fortunately he was holding a bowl in the car just in case that happened so no sick to clear up!) - luckily he's a lot better today, has had a bowl of cereal (no milk) and 1.5 slices of toast.
I've changed the beds and put the washing on, done a bit of tidying and we're currently playing a game.
We're heading to my parents shortly so I can make a cheesecake for tomorrow (MrDDs favourite!), then we'll stop at the shops on the way home for a couple of bits and come home and have lunch. Probably sit and watch a film this afternoon, and hopefully MrDD won't be too late home from work - they're hoping to close the shop about 3-4pm, but it just depends on how busy they are.
Then dinner (roast duck pancakes), C can have his Christmas eve "box" (not actually a box) then get him bathed and to bed so we can sort his presents out, and probably watch something on the TV before going to bed.

I'm just printing off a picture of a present for my mum which won't be delivered until February. Then there's a couple of presents to wrap, making some peppermint creams with my daughter. Put the Christmas Eve hamper together. This afternoon we are going to a carol service and then for a meal. Then back home, open hamper, bedtime, get presents out, etc. Slump on sofa!

Currently doing a couple of wash loads and then getting it dried in B's room with the dehumidifer. Cleaning the kitchen and doing the veg prep. We have already cleaned out soem drawers and the kids are desperate to take a load of toys to a charity shop - we would ahev normally done it by now but I am really late this year! We were supposed to be going to Beamish to then come back to 'discover' FC had dropped off new PJs and a DVD for us to watch this afternoon!

J isn't 100%, so we are cancelling our traditional trip to see the Christmas lights, as I don't want to make him worse.
Instead, my boys are currently scoffing sausage rolls (which I made, thank you very much), and watching Christmas films. I am having a well earned sit down, after spending the last few days baking, cleaning, wrapping, visiting friends and family.
Today is my H's 39th birthday, and I made him these yesterday, so we will be eating those later, instead of mince pies.
H is at work, not sure what time he finishes, so just me and the boys today.

Not much here really. H is at work until after lunch so I'm pottering about doing some housework and F is watching Peppa Pig! We might pop out for something to eat later though.
