What are you putting in them?
I am just about to order us all Onesies H and L in matching ones
Going to get some Reindeer dust (where do you all buy that from?)
Santas key (I have seen a nice on eBay, just need to get it)
Special platter for Santa
Pringles (Liam loves them
Mickeys once upon a Christmas for DVD I think
What else do I need to get?

Nice chocolates for me and h and some Santa shaped chocolates for kids
Still deciding on DVD
Night before Christmas book (this will go in every year)
Wine for us
Card from mrs Claus (just telling them they have present under tree to open before bed (this is their jammies)
We don't have a key as he comes down our chimney and we but the carrot and mince pies especially (it can't be from a Pre packed bag its got to be a big carrot bought on its own lol)

Not entirely sure, so far:
I've ordered a Christmas Eve kit from Sock Creations (www.facebook.com/SockCreationsUK) - includes a sock creature, snowman soup, magic reindeer food, and a chocolate treat
Carrot for Rudolph and snack and drink for Santa
There wouldn't be time for a DVD for us all to watch on Christmas eve by the time MrDD gets home from work (his busiest day of the year, the men who've left if last minute and are slightly inebriated from the pub sometime spend quite a bit of money in his shop )
Will watch thread for other ideas

What's snow man soup???
18/11/2013 at 10:53
I am wondering about DVD watching as well DeeDee. H usually works on a Tuesday night doing taxis and we were thinking that could be big tip money
I have the night before Christmas book, will stick that in
Couple of bottles of lager for H
Some voddy for me
Those sock things are weird DeeDee, can't decide if I like or not
Oh, I will buy carrot as well for Rudolph. What do you leave Santa?
Do your children drink hot choc?
18/11/2013 at 10:54
Is Snowman soup not the hot choc with marshmallows in a little bag?
18/11/2013 at 10:58
Iv just googled, have I got it right you make up the hot chocolate and put in a bag??? I don't get it??? I'm prob reading it wrong
Yes L loves hot chocolate, he has them for the tassimo lol
18/11/2013 at 11:01
Yes, it's the hot choc with marshmallows - C loves hot chocolate, although hasn't had it very often so it will be a nice treat for him I quite like the sock creatures, I have one on my desk at work (I won it from her not long after she first started making them) I'm sure C would love one too.
Santa will probably get a biscuit or cake here. Used to leave him a mince pie when I was little, but no one in our house likes them so no point buying a pack - unless I can get one from my parents since my mum usually makes loads of them.
I could watch a DVD with C in the afternoon, but I'd want to leave opening the "hamper" (not sure what it's all going to go in) until MrDD gets home.

Think so. They seem quite popular.
I have never tried L with hot choc
18/11/2013 at 11:04
Do you all put this in an actual hamper or a bag or what?
18/11/2013 at 11:06
Are you buying actual hampers for it as well?
I saw this www.homebargains.co.uk/.../5836-christmas-luxury-hamper-basket.aspx
No idea what I'm going to use this year to put it in Belle - last year, my Christmas present from work came in the perfect sized silver box - that's now used to keep some of C's toys in though!
Great minds Belle!
I also thought about a cardboard box with wrapping paper over it
18/11/2013 at 11:10
But Itl be cold choc???? I don't get it
Yes someone bought us an actual picnic hamper from John Lewis for our wedding and its wicker so I use that.
More things to sodding wrap

www.facebook.com Saw these as well

I think it's just the hot chocolate powder cp, so you add hot water to it to make it - probably easy enough to make yourself really.
18/11/2013 at 11:13
You make it with hot milk or hot water CP
I couldn't work it out dd, as some websites were saying add water etc so I was very confused lol, no I'm not crafty so L will be having a run of hot chocolate and bag if marshmallows and il tell him its snowman soup lol

In mine there will be:
Christmas onsie for the kids.
Christmas jumpers for the kids to wear on Christmas day, I'm debating getting me and H one to wear as well
Cookies for Santa
Carrot for Rudolph
Bucks Fizz for Christmas Morning
The Night before Christmas book
A chocolate Santa each for the kids
Key to hang on the door.
Last year I just got a big card board box, wrapped it with Christmas paper and put loads of tinsel and streamers in it so the kids had to rummage around in it to find the stuff.
