So I'm pretty much sorted on the present front, I need to do my food list. Does anyone have a list / spreadsheet they would care to share? I've bought tubs of chocolates & 4 peanuts (two of which have been eaten already)
And when do you do your big Christmas food shop?

I don't have a list, but would be interested to see what other people are buying. We are out for dinner at my sisters this year. So its really just booze and treat things. I nkow that Morrisons are doing Pringles for 99p each and 70cl spirits for £11.

Wow your organised, I still need to get loads of presents. I don't cook Christmas dinner so I'll probably go when me and h are off work on the 20th for booze and treat stuff. I'm not buying any tubs of chocolate yet as h will end up opening them to early and we can't have that when I'm trying to get some weight off before Christmas.

SW do you not have a Christmas dinner?
My friends used to do that. Just have a buffet on Christmas Day and lounge about with snacks and chocolate!

I'm at my mums this year so will just give her some money and take her to do the shop!

We don't do a big Christmas food shop.
We have dinner at my Mums (My Dad gets a turkey from work, and veg from his allotment), and we always have snacks and booze in...

I'm going to do a huge Xmas shop online as soon as the slots are released, for delivery on 23rd, and we will probably have a walk around later that day for anything missing. The turkey needs to get ordered yet too.!mind, we got a bargain last year from the meat man on the market, so I'm tempted to try that again.. Got a crown, 1kg of bacon, bacon and sausage and fresh stuffing for £20.! I'll post my list when it's written..x

Do you need a Christmas pud? Cake? Mince pies?
We're going to my mum's this year so don't need much for home. H has already bought a tin of chocolates which are hidden away.
I'll probably make some mince pies and maybe a Christmas cake so need to buy all the ingredients for that.
Last year we had smoked salmon and scrambled egg for breakfast I think.

I will post my list later
What about launch pies? Chutney, grapes pickle for cheese board?
I'm working till 1030 pm 23rd I'm going after that for all fresh and just going to pick up crisps/drinks as we go over next few weeks
11/11/2013 at 11:54
Condiments includes pickles
No cake and a girl at work is making me a mini pudd as no one eats it.
We need a ton of Iceland special party packs too, bung them in the freezer for easy dinners.

More important than the list is the date you can book your online Sainsbury's Christmas food shop delivery. Does anyone know it?
11/11/2013 at 12:15
Nope I don't do online, I quite like going to the store
