Which do you have? I am a real tree girl and am very excited about getting mine next weekend!

Mine is a fake one. I've always had a fake one. I think if I had a house with high ceilings it would be a real one.

We invested in a decent fake one a few years ago as getting rid of the real tree became such an effort for my H I couldn't be dealing with it anymore.

Fake, all the way.
I don't like real trees.

Currently we have a fake one which I pinched from my Mums attic a few years ago. I would love a real tree but I'm a bit lazy when it comes to sweeping up the dropped needles and they end up everywhere! Plus the cat doesn't seem to think the fake one is her playgroud so it remains upright!

We picked up and decorated our real tree yesterday it's our first real one and the house smelt lovely this morning! Another bonus is that the cats haven't messed in it as its so dense at the bottom and spiky! I'm a convert to the real tree but ask me in a week when I'm sick of finding its needles everywhere.

I do love a real tree, especially the smell, but I can't be doing with clearing up the needles every few days and hassle of having to go out and pick one - I'm obviously lazy so we just have a fake one. Maybe when C's a bit older we might have a real tree one year.

We used to always have a real tree. However I hated how the looked at the end. All droopy and lifeless. Now we are putting the tree up earlier in December (mainly for the kids benefit!) we invested in a decent fake one last year.

We are having a real one for the first time this year but it's not being delivered for another two weeks as I can't stand the thought of it being up all month. I'd feel the same about an artificial one too! We have moved house this year and our dining room is massive so have ordered a 8ft one. My bro put his up yesterday (real) and its 12ft. It's so beautiful!
Always a real one. It's a big part of Xmas for me.
I'm looking forward to getting it next weekend.

Always a real one here, love the smell of it!

We always have a real one.

I remember having a real when I lived with my parents and it was bloody messy! Smelt nice though. I'd rather splash out on a really realistic fake

We are having a real one. We've had a real one for the last two years, they've lasted almost a month with barely any needles dropping, I think they are much better now than when we were children. It probably helps that it's in our conservatory so stays cold at night, I think the tree likes that! And luckily our council collects them along with the garden waste so the only effort for us is going to pick it up.
I will send OH next Saturday with the two boys and they can bring it home and we can all decorate it, I can't wait. We would have done it this weekend but our playroom was far too messy and there was no room for a tree! So I've sent a mountain of toys out to the garage for later sorting into ebay/charity/bin piles and we now have space!

Fake here - I've never had a real one.
real. there is NOTHING better than the smell of a real christmas tree. it's worth all the hassle of the needles and getting rid of it.
heals on TCR has decorated its pillars with branches of christmas tree - i look like a right weirdo when i walk past as i always make sure i get a good smell of them

Fake all the way. Couldn't be doing with the pine needles in the carpet and getting rid of it etc. Ours is lovely and massive though, I really love it and can't wait for it to be up tomorrow!

We've got a real tree this year, now we've got a bit more room for it. We bought it end of November, but only brought it inside on Saturday night and decorated it. I love the smell of real trees.

Real! Used to be fake but for the last 4/5 years we've gone real

I grew up with a real one and really miss not being able to practically have one. So it's fake for the time being.
