Do you get them through the door? do you fill them?
I didn't realsie until recently that they aren't all charity bags. Someone told me (can't remember who) but that some businesses put them through the door as well but because they look like charity bags everyone assumes they are charity bags. I checked oen we got yesterday and in the same print at the bottom it does say that it is a registered business but not that it is a registered charity. I am think this is exceptionally cheeky and playing on people's good will. What do you think?

We get them occasionally but I heard that before about the businesses so I don't tend to fill any of them and instead just take things to my local charity shop, I think it's very cheeky and tbh without knowing about businesses I wouldn't look that closely so deff playing on people's good will. You automatically think oh it's for charity! It's blummin cheeky really!

To me it was fabulous handy - I could help out charities without it eating into my weekend drivign into town, parkign and trudging through to drop it off and not having to deal with rude shop staff (always amazes me how rude they can eb!) But it has entirely put me off and I jsut save it up now and take stuff to a variety fo places when I have the time.

I don't fill them for charity. But, I do keep them, and use them for rubbish. Saves me buying black bin bags

Same as AK, we use them as bin bags! We get so many, and when I know of people who've left them out (empty or full), they don't even get collected.

We get at least 4 every week. It drives me nuts. I chuck them. If i have stuff for charity i would rather drop it at the shop.

I give when we have stuff - only to legitimate charities though. The others go in the bin as they sell the stuff on usually. It is usually the big cancer charities or the salvation army I give to.

I only give to specific charities, depends on which bag comes through the door and if I have anything, otherwise they become bin bags.
