Just wondering if anyone has ever done a low GI diet?
If so how did you get on with it?
I have just looked it up due too a PCOS website telling me it's the best diet to do for PCOS, I have actually found some nice recipes and lots of information but just wanted some personal experiences, It sounds awesome and will help with other health related illness's
Food cravings and lethargy, Lack of concentration and mood swings, Diabetes, Heart disease
I am going to cut out all dairy, I don't really eat too much of it anyways just yogurts and cheese and milkshakes.
So any advice would be fab!

I might have some booklets I could post to you from when I had Gestational Diabetes. Let me have a look...
To answer your question, I got on just fine and lost a lot of weight (I weighed less post birth than I did at booking in).
Any reason for you cutting out all dairy?

Iv done more or less low gi since September last year and I'm 6lbs off a 4st loss.
Iv got a book of recipies, will post some in a mo.
It was the first 3 days I felt sweaty and tired, after that I felt fine. I can't eat bread at all now as get vvvv bloated and its just not worth it.
I don't have pcos I just really needed to loose weight x

Breakfast il have things like yoghurt, oat bran, smoked salmon and scrambled egg (used to have toast with it but not now),
Lunch - veg rosti (carrot, courgette, sweet potatoe, all grated, spring onion chopped mix together, add an egg white then divide into 8 patties, fry in fry light, serve with any type of meat, sweet potato and Parma ham blini, Thai fish cakes, omelette,
Tea - scallops and Parma ham, tuna nicoise/beef nicoise, any fish, chicken parcels, stir fry veg in oyster sauce
Thanks Ladies, Cutting out dairy seemed to help alot of ladies with PCOS apparently so thought I would give it a try :)

Pretty much same as Rusty! Would have the odd brown pitta but no other bread. Some brown pasta and rice but not much. Maybe try GI first before cutting our dairy as well? The thing I would say is do t substitute sugary food for diet alternatives because they make you crave sugar!
I'm pretty much back on it now actually.
