C is usually a fantastic sleeper. Since Xmas he started over sleeping, going from 7pm-9am. The last four nights have been awful. He has gone to bed fone, but woken a couple of hours later calling out for me. When I ask him what wrong he either says he doesn't know or that he was crying for me. Nothing appears to be weong. I battle to get him back to sleep and the same thing happens a couple of hours later....all through the night. I'm knackered and H goes on to nights tonight.
I hope it's not a new habit, as usually I'd do controlled crying, but find it tricky while living at PIL. It's also typical that as soon as I convince him to go back to bed one of them gets up for the loo which further disturbs him.
He started potty training last week. Doing well, but could this change have affected sleep??

C did this a few weeks ago. He didn't seem to want anything other than me for a cwtch. He would wake up every 2 hours kind of panicked. It lasted about 2 weeks and then just stopped... It was odd and because he can't talk I couldn't ask him. Hope he gets back sleeping for you soon.

J's a similar age and has been waking up a fair bit through the evening and night. I'm putting it down to starting pre-school and having a lot on his mind and I;m hoping it will pass soon.
