my poor 19month old little boy went head 1st into the ground in tesco after sitting backwards in the phil n ted toddler seat,my daughter in front got out and the whole lot went ova! poor charlie screams the place down with a huge bluey purple swollen head. was terrified he was going to pass out but after some fresh air he seemed ok, staff in tesco were very good, just a shame i had some busy body tell me he was screaming cas he had concussion and i needed to strap in flat down in the buggy! i no people think there being helpful but in a stressful and upsetting situation like that i really could have done without her following me round tutting and huffing!
my little boys now tucked up in bed and i imagen im not going to get a wink of sleep as im paranoid now he'll get delayed concussion that my mum has just warned me about! x

Just keep an eye,a bump on the head is always a worry.Passers by not always helpful, sounds quite the opposite.Maybe someone's been watching too much casualty?
If they bang their head and it's a bump it's probably a better sign than if there's not,cos you can see the swelling ,it's on the outside not inside where it would do more damage. If he was sick or unusually drowsy then maybe you'd have reason to suspect a concussion.Otherwise it's probably just a nasty bump on the head.At least that's what my Mum always tells me and she was a paed nurse for all her working life. She's usually right.
Hope Charlie's okay, and feeling much better in the morning.

hi thanks for the support, charlie didint show any signs of concussion so that was a big relief! He has a nasty blue bruise on his forehead and a slightly black eye and a bruise on his cheek, so as you can imagen is looking very battered but other than that his back to his useal cheeky self xxx
