I sure did. Louie woke us up at 7am telling dddy they needed to go and buy mummy flowers. So off he goes with daddy, in his PJs to Tesco to get me a bunch of flowers and some daffs. We had a leisurely breakfast then my sister and her girls came over and then mum dad and bro came over. Loads of lovely foods and tons of Cava. I got 4 cards, 2 handmade ones 2 bought ones, plus a bookmark he'd made at nursery and then a dressing gown and pjs. Totally spoiled and a very happy mummy

No! I spent most of the day in bed trying to sleep, but failing miserably, feeling miserable, and then me and MrDD had a silly misunderstanding in the evening, which I took badly since I was feeling so rotten
I did get a lovely card, some gorgeous chocolates and an orchid though

Belle, your mothers day sounds nice.I did, went to mass with l whilst daddy took j to his first football skills class. The. I cooked lunch for my family, nieces and nephew. There were 13 of us in total. I drank more than I had planned to! I got 2 handmade cards a cute pot plant and a handmade photo frame with photo of l she made at school. I'm now trying to tidy up all the mess

[sarcasm] yes it was fab , got home from work on say night to discover Isaac has the pox and the most foul smelling diarrhoea. Spent most of Sunday stringing dioralite into him, managed to go out (just to the chemist for virasoothe and Piriton) then got home, h had forgot to take the pork out the freezer for lunch but he defrosted it in the microwave but it was a bit tough. Then Isaac ate all his roast which I was at.
I got a plant (Itl be dead within a week, I don't do anything to do with plant/flowers), Ferraro Roche which h helped me eat and milk tray which L helped eat, lots of cards because h bought me cards, the cm made cards with them, sil dropped off cards incase h forgot and L made one at school

I had a lovely first mother's day, we went out for the day to Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby and it snowed! x

Not particularly. I spent the day washing, ironing, cooking and cleaning. We had my mum and dad around for lunch. The football was on all day.
the best part of the day was when Call the midwife was on, i sat down and let H do bath and bedtime for the kids on his own.

Was lovely - I got breakfast in bed and a bracelet, but when I turned the tablet on later I found Delia's instructions on how to boil an egg (H is 27)!
It was a working day for us and hadn't even realised it was Mother's Day until H gave me a card from R, so happy with that.
This does mean though, as I hadn't realised it was Mohers Day yesterday that my mums and MIL cars are still sitting at home un-posted :( silly really as I had the cards all ready just didn't realise it was yesterday.

Erm, bit mixed.
H went in a mood because I didn't whoop with joy at a fricking toiletry set he got me last minute on Saturday, given to me in an Asda carrier bag.
My ex though, what a star. He got some lovely flowers delivered, off both boys.
I went to my Mums for lunch, which was nice. I even had an afternoon nap, with J.

It was just a normal day for us really. Had a bit of a lie in, then got some little presents that the kids had made at school/nursery/brownies, 2 hand made cards and a bought one. I had told H not to get me anything as we're skint so he put a scratchcard in my card, which won, then I bought another one with my winnings which lost
I had a lazy afternoon on the settee, then when H went to work done my ironing.

I had a lay in, cuppa in bed then finished baking for my mums afternoon tea. H did the majority of hosting so was lovely and relaxing. Then we ate loads of bad food, drunk lots of champagne and stayed up till 11pm playing candy crush together in bed and completed the level we have been stuck on for ages - seriously I was whopping for joy lol!
I got 2 homemade bracelets, a bookmark E made and loads of pictures, flowers and cards x

It started badly when I didn't get the lie-in I really wanted. Improved then when I got 2 homemade cards and a bought one and a bunch of flowers and some peppermint creams F had made at Rainbows. Plus girls were really excited which made me happy! H cooked lunch cos his mum was coming round so that was nice. I still did ironing, hoovering and mopping floors though!! Never mind! A good day!

It's a no from me too. Started okay with some lovely handmade stuff from the kids, which my H had put a lot of thought and effort into (especially as he knows I'd rather get stuff they've made than he's bought).
After that though it was pretty dire. H and I have been arguing a lot, more this weekend than usual. Saturday I disappeared to Bluewater for hours. Yesterday it was much the same, and then in top of that E had a visit to a&e due to a vomiting bug and the fact she had stopped taking fluids. She was sent home though, she seems ok although still not right.

For me, it was about Miss CV rather than myself - I'm not into random presents on occasions like this and had made that known - so we all had a lovely morning allowing her to fuss over me. We just had our usual breakfast but she led me by the hand out of the kitchen while she and Mr CV made it, and then kept coming back into the living room to check I was relaxing. Cuteness overload! And she was as proud as punch handing over her card and chocolates. The rest of the day was the usual business as we visited our mums (and his is an hour's drive away) and then I took Miss CV to a special event free festival type event in town while Mr CV watched the football. I was happy enough with that. I made dinner too (despite Miss CV's insistence that daddy was going to do - ha!) but no big deal really, and we had pudding to mark the occasion!

Nothing special! We went to my mums in the afternoon and went to watch football with all the men in the family while the women had the children and chatted! PJ xx

After a rubbish week, the weekend was much better. Saw my mum and dad in Saturday for dinner which was nice. Sunday, T bought me in a lovely bouquet of flowers and a card. H took me for dinner at chapters. Was nice x

Started off nicely (a lovely canvas and homemade card, followed by toasted bagel and scrambledegg). Then we had a huge row where H stormed off to his mum's as we couldn't all go as O was a bit poorly and she has a weak immune system just now so couldn't risk it.Then in evening all was ok, til O woke hysterical at 11.30pm with explodapoo squits, which I changed, before he promptly threw up (carrots and all) over us both. Cue another outfit change for us both!
