So. Much. Chocolate. in my house. E has an extra day off but the boys are back at school today. It's like they were never off.
Have had a busy couple of weeks on the work/photography front, bluebells at the weekend which are always lovely. Back to the grind today but at least we have another bank holiday to look forward to soon, this one I won't work through!

I'm trying to hide the chocolate but O seems to be magicking it out of thin air! We stayed with MIL as FIL is away at work so we were keeping her company. Back to work for me tomorrow, and I'm up to my eyeballs in coursework.

C is off for another week, so I am looking forward to another week of quality time with my boys.
My kids had SO much chocolate (about 12 eggs, plus a carrier bag full of sweet and choc bars), it'll last until next Easter.
Would say we had a nice Easter weekend, but my step son ruined it, as per usual. I escaped to my Mums with my 2 for Sunday lunch, which was yummy. Always nice to go back home, and eat my mums cooking.

Oh no AK, are we allowed to ask what SS got up to? Glad you could get away from it.
I'm doing an OU course so am up to ears in coursework too DS. This one has an exam at the end of it too which should be fun....not.
We've ended up with about 20 Easter Eggs, should see us through till Christmas!

His usual tricks of weeing in his box of clothes, stealing scissors out the bathroom and cutting his clothes up, and scratching his sisters xbox games, then lying about it all.
Scissors are hidden (we have a 2 yr old, we don't leave them within easy reach), but he rummages for them, cuts stuff up, then puts them back...
I can only assume it is to get attention off his Mum. They spend all their time in their bedroom at home, but when they go back home from ours (after being told off for all the sh!t he does) his Mum goes "oohhh, my poor baby boy, had such a horrible time with Daddy", and smothers him in kisses and cuddles, which she never usually does.

We went to breakfast and communion at church on good Friday which was a lovely time of fellowship. Managed to pick up H's car which had had its MOT and its breaks sorted. We saw family on Good Friday evening for a family meal which was great. Easter Saturday we had borrowed our surestart pass for free entry to a local zoo. Our son loved the Lemar's and we had a great time. Easter Sunday I had a horrendous migraine, H cooking sausages made me throw up not so good. Easter Monday didn't do much, worked on the house. Today Son went to Surestart Out to Play for 5 to 11's. He made a shield for St. Georges day. We booked Son onto swimming lessons as he enjoyed an intensive course so much last week. So he now has a swimming lesson at 4pm every Wednesday. Got confused about when our School of Rock restarts, sent out 29 letters to current students to say we are having an enrolement day next Saturday. Need to find one more address. Son didn't get many eggs as he isn't a big chocolate fan. Hubby turned a Dark Lint rabbit into a Nigella chocolate mouse, using cream and marchmellows still din't like it.

My star of an H has found the last address. Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!!!!!!!!

AK he sounds delightful! Poor kid, as awful as his behaviour is it doesn't sound like he has a great time of it with his Mum.
Good luck with the assignment Raincloud!
Sounds like you had a very eventful weekend Winterflower. Have you ever tried the Delia chocolate torte? I defy anyone not to like that. Well done for your H finding the address!

We had a fab Easter.
Good Friday the weather was lovely so we spent the morning at the beach playing cricket, skimming stones, rock climbing etc. Then in the afternoon we took the kids and E's friend to the local fair which they loved. Then had a walk up to a pub on the sea front and had a couple of beers while loads of the kids played on the field outside the pub.
Saturday we were at a good friends wedding which was fab. Kids were there until 7pm, they had a fab time then it was great to get rid
Easter Sunday we had a house party at our friends house with all the kids.
Easter Monday was spent having a lie in for all of us and a chilling day.
Kids didn't go back to school until today.
AK sorry SS's behaviour hasn't improved.

AK - your poor step son. I know that its a horrid way for him to behave but he obviously gets so confused by the lack of boundaries from his mum. Have you thought about trying something radical like using a jar of pasta pieces and putting in a piece of pasta for every hour that he is good while with you with the promise of something if he's good for, say, 10 pieces. It could be something like choosing dinner, not something you have to buy. (I'm stealing my friend's kids pocket money rules - not for every hour for them obviously - but as you only see him for a weekend and his behaviour is extreme it might help a bit). Feel free to ignore if you think this is a pile of nonsense
We had a lovely Easter here. We went out on Friday and did an Easter egg trail which we scoffed between us . Then worked it off by playing hide and seek, etc.
Saturday we went to see my parents and had lunch with them.
Sunday it was just us and the weather was rubbish so we watched a film (the Incredibles because we couldn't find Hop which was my daughter's first choice )
Easter Monday we met up with friends at a local park and had lunch sitting outside while the kids ran around and entertained themselves.
Tuesday it was back to work. Boo!
