Wasn't the weather lovely?! I took the kids out on Saturday for a walk and some photos (poor kids). They enjoyed it though, and I paid them in their choice of magazines.
Yesterday it was good enough for them to play in the garden, it's been a soggy quagmire for months I'd forgotten how much I miss their 'playroom'!
What did you get up to?

Sounds lovely. The weather wasn't that nice here but it's lovely today and looks like it's going to be the same for the next few days. We went swimming on Saturday then the kids played out. Yesterday was a day of watching sport with beers and a take away. MIL had the kids out for the afternoon to the park.

Step kid stress. No, actually, step son stress. Never used to wish my weekends away, now I can't blumming wait until it's over.
Weather was glorious, I managed to get some gardening done.
I got loads of crocheting done, got the house blitzed, and had fun with my 2 boys.

We had a lovely weekend! A had a birthday party Saturday then I took the girls to my parents after where they played outside on bikes/scooters/in the garden etc. Yesterday I met my friend who's got 2 children at a local castle which has lovely grounds and play areas and we spent all day there! Had a picnic and did lots of running around/having fun! Was sooo tired last night! Hung washing out on the line for the first time which is always fab!

oh dear Counter - care to elaborate?? Hormone related? I was so up and down when pregnant.
10/03/2014 at 12:28
Ha ha, yes mostly. My hormones haven't been too bad really. I've had mini-meltdowns over real 'stuff' (like no heating/warm water for 10 days) but I was sorting wedding pics and sobbed alone for 20 mins. And because I can't walk far enough to get anywhere I was housebound yesterday as no one around. So I wallowed, then I wallowed some more! Normal whiney pregnancy stuff. Your Sunday sounds like my perfect day :)

Oh no, sounds horrible. Although I would have meltdowns over having no heating/warm water for 10 days and I'm not pregnant! Have you got it back yet? Sobbing over the wedding pics is definitely hormone related! Sometimes you do feel better just to have a good cry. Could you sit in your garden when weather permits if you find yourself housebound again? Just being out in the sunshine makes everything seem so much better. Thank you, it was a perfect day yesterday :-)

Counter you have a free pass to be a miserable cah for the next 6 weeks months or so! Just remember "this too shall pass" and "it'll all be worth it in the end".

We had a lovely weekend out in the sunshine. Saturday we walked to our local park and pottered around, had our first outdoors icecream of the year.
Yesterday I was able to get out in the garden and do some gardening. Then spent some time helping my daughter learn to ride her bike. Not that she had enough room in our garden to do it properly so she wasn't able to really get going. But it was worth the look on her face when she managed to start herself off and ride for a couple of seconds balanced all by herself.

Another lovely weekend here. Saturday we took the boys to my parents for a couple of hours then went out to look at new food mixers, and sneaked a cheeky KFC in there too, then came home for beef cobbler for dinner which was fab.
Sunday I went for a run, H went out with a friend for a bit then we went for a 6.5 mile walk in the sunshine, stopped at the pub for a pint in the garden on the way home, had a nice visit from the ILs then H and I had fish and chips once the boys were in bed. Pretty much a perfect weekend!

Thanks for the cake, Sshh, though with my hips I'm not sure I should... :) Frankie, you are right. getting outside makes such a difference. Even today I'm working on my bed but the doors are open and the fresh air and wind is blowing in. I was in too much of a funk to make the trip outside so serves me right ha ha.
These weekends sound great, it's like a veil is lifted once we get some bright, dry weather. Am glad folk are making the most of it!
