I don't think L would get it, he likes getting money, but I could give him 1p or £1 and it is all the same

At the age my two are they don't get pocket money. H and I both pay money into their accounts monthly, so when they're older they'll have something to put towards Uni/car/house whatever they want to really.
Occasionally my grandparents give them the odd £1 for sweets or a lolly. This usually goes in their money boxes.
E sometimes has the ITNG magazine if she's been particularly good.
When they're older and I can bribe them to do jobs for money then i'll think about giving pocket money

No, but once she's in secondary from Sept E will get something in return for doing chores around the house.

No, C doesn't get anything - like L, he wouldn't know the difference between 1p or £1 and would be happy to get either! He does like it if we give him something and wants to put it in his moneybox, not sure when we might start giving him a regular amount though.

I'm debating it. He would know the difference but I don't think he has the patience to save up!

Louie doesn't no. But the girls do. They get £40 each per month plsu their mobile bill in return for housework being done. G also has a little job now so earns herself some extra spondoolees.

My daughter does, she's 6 and gets a pound a week. She's only got it since her birthday, we did suggest it last year but she said 'no thank you'!
She's only now really understanding that the money has a value and that the big nice 2p isn't worth as much as the tiny 20p.

No. But when I train him to do all the housework I might start the pocket money. He will have to do stuff for it though I'm not just giving it

Nope E is 6 and although we pay a tenner into their accounts monthly, they dont know it!

Yes but not weekly. If we go somewhere (theme park, farm, zoo, shopping, etc) we give her some money to buy herself something IF she has been good. She gets pocket money off my parents every time they see her too and has a little money box that she loves filling up with it.

At school they ahev been doing abotu money and I wondered whether to do pocket money and haven't decided what to do yet!
