If so, why and what ones?
My hair has been in desperate state since having Jude 8 months ago I just keep nipping the ends off but nothings helping, I'm a wondering if some vitamins would help, I'm also low in iron.

MrDD sometimes gives me vitamins to take, especially if I'm ill or run down, but I've no idea what they are!
I've recently started taking Starflower oil and Evening Primrose oil to try and reduce the horrendous pmt symptoms I was getting.

I take vitamin D as my levels are chronically low. But this is something my consultant told me to take. Apparently we don't get enough sun in the uk, he said that my energy levels should improve.
My hair needs a boost, it's so fine and falls out.

I take Vitamin C drinks when I have a hangover I took vitamins whilst pregnant as I didn't eat well at all but otherwise no, I like to think I'm eating well enough to not have to substitute with chemicals.
LLL- Vitamin D is a big problem here even though we have a lot of sun (people hide from it as it is too hot!)
There are vitamins that claim to help your hair but I'm not convinced. I often have a carb detox and eat a lot of fruit and veg during that time, my hair always looks so much shinier. Have you thought about getting a treatment for it at the hairdressers instead?

I'm taking sanatagen mum to be as I feel better on vits and I'm hoping these will help with TTC no 2. My hair and nails are beautiful, just need to drink more water to help my skin x

WS I am a hairdresser so I kind of know all the tricks and the treatments which I do but they are short term really. I think I coloured it too much when I was pregnant and it was weak :( it grows and shines but the ends become brittle quickly.
I've always said I wouldn't need to take a supplement because I find you can make yourself feel better with diet and sun (when it's out!) but might try some multivitamins

Lauren- My hair has got terrible since being out here and I put it down to the water (we have desalinated water) and the sun! I spend a lot of money on hair products as I'm a Kerastase junkie and I am still not happy with the condition it is in! If you think multivitamins would help, give it a go.

Only ever took them during pregnancy.

I take the Pregnacare breastfeeding ones at the moment but before I was pregnant I only ever took evening primrose oil. I'll be taking it again when I stop BFing- it's magic!

Just Spatone as my iron levels are low this pregnancy and I find pregnancy multi vitamins bung me up.

I take an A - Z multi vitamin everyday and also Vertese (vegetarian omega oil capsules). I think I'm less tired and have more energy when I take them.

I take pregnacare. I think I'll just go to a cheaper multivit afterwards. I used to take a big cocktail of pills before I got graves disease and I'll always wonder if there's a connection. I used to take soya lecithin, vitb, vitc, iron and during period fluid retention stuff. Too much!

Ah yes I take Spatone for my iron too.
What does evening primrose oil do they makes it so good??

Hep- it has so many uses apparently! Some women claim it helps PMT and Menopause but there's a lack of real evidence. My sister tried it for her eczema and my nan tried it for athritis, it didn't help but both of them had severe cases. My mum used to swear by it for period pains. It's also used in pregnancy to soften the cervix but again no concrete evidence. I'm sure there are other reasons to use it too.

For me, evening primrose oil pretty much gets rid of any PMT and just makes me feel the same all month if that makes sense? I thought I might just be making it up so I stopped taking it for a bit and I noticed a big difference. Plus my hair wasn't as nice! But I imagine it doesn't work the same way for everyone.

Ooh I might try some EPO then.

If I remember to I take a multivitamin. My diet isn't the best just now due to us having a million things on so I really need to be consistent. I'm also anaemic so should take iron tablets. My daughters take a multivitamin (almost 3 year) and vitamin d (1 year old).
