For my nephew. He likes things like The Hangover, Kickass, Superbad, but can't think of anything at all to get him this Christmas. They don't have to be comedies, I think he'd like action too, as long as it's interesting / doesn't lose him
The only thing I can think of from this year is Ted, but neither of us thought that was much good. Can also be older films, in which case I can get him a few more as they'll be cheaper but I'm totally stuck!

American pie box set? I think they were about £25 in hmv for all 7 films

I've got my 16yr old brother series 15 (I think) of South Park. Other than that, no idea

Ooh American Pie is a good one BB, thanks!
It's hard isn't it SW? I've got into the habit of buying him a couple of films every Christmas, most of them he's liked but when they haven't been his thing it's annoyed me! I think he is too picky, personally ;)

Batman, idiot abroad, ted (I think he would like, we thought it was 'ok' but most boys I know think its great)

Bad Boss (think that was what it was called - had Jennifer Anniston in it as a dentist). Me and H both liked it at the cinema - slightly more grown up American Pie type film but same level of humour (ie not inappropriate for a 17 year old).

there is some older ones he might like if his humour is along those lines, lets go to prison, without a paddle. newer ones ted, new batman, the new expendables

Some fab ideas, thanks ladies.
KS - I hadn't heard of misfits, that looks very him, I will have to slyly check he doesn't already watch it as that would be a good one if not.
KK - Ah Horrible Bosses! We've seen that and that would be ideal, it hadn't even crossed my mind though, thanks!
SM - Without a paddle looks really good and is only £3.99, now in the basket! Thanks.

I have a 17 year old nephew, and his favourite TV programmes are Family Guy and American Dad. I'm fairly sure he also like Misfits (I know his Dad does!)
