I have 2 shifts to go and that's it! No more A&E! Been in A&E since 2002 , so much has happened in those 11 Years I can't believe that's it.
Having a big party at work tomorrwell by that I mean we all take in food set up the seminar room and run in for a munch when we get a chance. have been soooo busy this week and I've got a bit shouty wanted to have a really good last week. It was one guys bday last night and someone had baked a cake but it was so busy that we all managed to do a quick happy birthday at 7am this morning ( started at 9)
anyway hoping for 2 nice nightshifts fx

O I'd have loved time off but I finish nights sun morning and start with them mon morning. Basically I had to give 8 weeks notice, new place only runs an induction monthly so if I didn't make this one it would be mid April and I didn't want to wait that long as I'm desperate to get started so I can change my shift pattern and start studying iyswim

Here's hoping all the Friday night idiots manage to keep themselves out of A&E so you get a quiet shift.
That really is the end of an era.
