She said to me last night "mam, I've got something to tell you that I haven't told any adult, I've got a boyfriend, he's called Michael, he's in my class and we really like each other"
H just phoned and asked if she had told me as she's just told him, H's response to me was "I didn't think she'd start this young but at least its a boyfriend and not a girlfriend" - typical male reaction

Awww bless her. Let's hope they aren't snogging in the playground!

Bless her. You going to invite him round for dinner? haha
C has a different gf each week, I lose track of who the current one is. He goes mental when I ask about the wrong gf.

Well it's only what was happening in year 5/6 at K's primary school....

God, I didn't expect that until secondary school. I'll dread her getting a bf when she's a teenager.
Me and H were having a conversation the other week about how its different for lads and lasses. He says he wouldn't be bothered if J brought a girl home after a night out as long as they didn't make a noise but he wouldn't let E bring a lad home unless it was a long term bf.
I told him he should have the same rules for both but he didn't agree

Loving your H's reply!
Do you know what the boyfriends intentions are ha ha ;)

Neither were we but there were a few girls in K's year that were snogging very young.
K's got some secret crush on a boy but she won't talk to us about it. I don't think she's snogged anyone yet, she's 13.

I'm hoping it stays that way for E as well Belle.

I remember a girl in Year 6 at primary school arranging to meet a boy in the park so they could have a snog. Don't remember if he turned up - she was more keen than he was!
My daughter, when she was in Reception, told me "xx is my boyfriend. He doesn't know, its a secret". Think that might be the best kind of boyfriend!
