E has a really sore throat and a cold but she's still dragged herself out of bed got up and gone into school today. Apparently her form tutor gave her a note excusing her from PE due to how rough she sounded, but the PE teacher ignored the note and made her do it anyway.
Shall I ring the school and moan about it, or is it one of those things I just let pass?

I reckon I would email in asking that such notes, in future, be adhered to. A sort of 'I'm letting it go this time, but don't let it happen again' kinda thing :)
I'd leave it. It's not like the teacher ignored a letter from you - if that was the case I'd definitely be on the blower !

I'd let it pass. A sore throat/cold isn't really enoigh to get out of PE anyway.

Do you think she was well enough to do PE? if no then I would email like counter said, if yes I would ignore for now.
Lauren's school have a new system where you have to text the school to tell them your child is not taking part, Lauren has an ongoing issue with her leg which means sometimes she has to step out of PE which as far as I am concerned is down to her as she knows a bad day from a good, this used to be fine but now I have to text every time she is going to miss it and its a PITA
