I've just ordered C's pre-school photos onto a CD, there were 18 images in total but luckily I didn't like 10 of them (he does this weird forced smile when asked to smile) so with the class photo which I didn't actually like but feel I should order since we have all his other ones (printed copy, not allowed to have one on the CD) it's cost £101!
I've also had to pay £30 to my "free" travel insurance because of having an overactive thyroid and wanting to be covered while I'm away (the medication can cause you to have low white blood count that may lead to infections and need immediate medical attention so I don't want to risk it!)
With paying for C's birthday party last week, getting him some new swimming stuff for holiday yesterday and a couple of bits for me, it's been quite a spendy week on my credit card!!

Bl@@dy hell, I'd be complaint to pre school about that - why on earth are they using such an expensive photographer? I felt aggrieved that O's class photo is costing me £9

That's really expensive for school photos. I dread it when E and S are at school and how much it's going to cost.

Morph - they had a different photographer last year and I hated the photos, we only bought one as we felt we should have at least one of them - we spent a fortune a couple of years ago when they used this same photographer too! His class photo is truly awful though, and the cheapest version is £11! They had to take a separate photo of him as he wasn't at pre-school on the days the photographers were there, and photo-shopped it in, but they've got his height all wrong - he looks a few inches smaller than the girl he's "standing" next to even though he's actually taller than her!
chids - I think I'll have to limit my spend on them in future, although I guess at school they don't do all the different poses and backgrounds like they did at his pre-school.

Expensive business isn't it, those school pics.
C had a class pic done, and they wanted £43 for it. No ta. Don't want a photo of 29 other kids on my wall.

£43!! Wow, that is a lot!! The most expensive one they do is £28 for the class one so seems quite reasonable in comparison!

Now i know why my mum and dad never had them when we were kids, if they were so expensive.
Wow, school pics here I spend a maximum of £10 on and thats only if the grandparents are getting them too!

£43 for a school photo. That's outrageously expensive! I think I paid £10 for the last one of my daughter's class. She looks weird in it because she's sitting funny. And none of the class staff are smiling so they look really gloomy.
I wouldn't bother buying the photograph if I really didn't like it though. We had a look at my daughter's pre school photo the other day and she could hardly remember the names of some of the children (none of them go to school with her)

When he gets individual ones, I pay £30 for a package of a 12x10, two 10x8, three 7x5, five 5x3, all with those board frames, then 6 bookmarks, 6 keyrings, and a calendar.
NO idea why they then charge £43 for one pic. Maybe its the cr@p frame it comes in??? They don't give an option for photo only.

I'm amazed they got any takers for it at that price!

Only 1 kid in C's class ordered one.

I'm surprised so many buy school photos. I hate them!
