We were given a photoshoot as a Christmas present and it is this weekend. I hate having my photo taken and OH is not keen either, so we'd put it to the back of our minds a bit, but now it's upon us I'm panicking what we should all wear. The shoot is in a studio, T is 5 and F is 2. Any ideas, tips gratefully received. If anyone could post their pictures, even better!

We've had a fair few over the years - one of my step-family where SM made us all wear the same colour, some of my little family, where we coordinated but not matched, and some of the family in our own clothes - I prefer the non-matched but non-clash look myself.

Wear something you're comfy in and colours that compliment each other. Too much pattern can be distracting.
Is there somewhere for you to change? Take a few outfits for variation. Take toys for the kids to keep them busy and dare I mention bribes for smiles - for your H as well as the kids!
Studio lights can be quite harsh, take some loose powder to blot on any shine. Hairbrush and make up too.

Wanted to reiterate to take changes of clothes not just for variation but in case of random stains!

Great advice from Shhh. We had a photo shoot earlier in the year, it was great and here's a few of the photos from it - the photographer was fantastic with C which helped, and had loads of things for him to play with during the shoot too. We were asked to wear white and denim and bring a change of clothes thinking about the colours of the room we planned to put any of the pictures in.

Sshh, that's great advice, I wouldn't have thought to take anything for the OH or even a hairbrush for me.
Beez, that's one of my main worries, the chances of us all getting there without a mishap is very slim. Typically F has a cold, so I have visions of snot across my trousers at knee height
